While some of our family was here from out of town, we decided to go to The Living Planet Aquarium, in Sandy. Although we had tons of fun, we were all a little sad that day, because our sweet, family dog, Chumlee, had passed away in my moms arms during the previous night. Chumlee was 14 years old; the oldest living pug the veterinarian had seen. We sure had a lot of good times with that crazy dog, and those memories will forever be cherished in our hearts. Until we meet and play again.....RIP Chumlee.
Just prior to letting the otters back into their exhibit, the aquarium workers placed otter treats throughout the playground area of the exhibit. Upon their reentry, it was fun to watch the river otters frantically run and swim around the exhibit, in search of the hidden treats. The workers strategically placed the treats, so that all of us onlookers could get incredible views of these incredible mammals. Very fascinating!
